Laocoonte (Laocoon)

The Laocoonte 2024 art biennial, organized by the Italian Arte Nel Mondo Cultural Association and the Italian Academy of Arts, was organized for the 50th time this year to support art and artists as well as the historical importance of Laocoonte.

The Laocoonte International Art Award ceremony, organized by the Italian Arte Nel Mondo Cultural Association and the Italian Academy of Arts, was held for the 50th time this year on June 29, 2024 at the Grand Hotel Tiziano and the "Sala Bernini" congress handover ceremony in Lecce. "CLOSING OF ACHEI" At the "Historiae Mythologiae et Heroum" Art Biennale International High Prize Ceremony, the 2024 "LAOCOONTE" for Contemporary Art, as well as the "THINK" for Civil and Social Interaction and the "UBALDO LAY" awards for Theater, Cinema and Literature were presented to their owners.

During the Grand Gala held in the Bernini Room of the Grand Hotel "Tiziano" in Lecce, the award, named the High Recognition, was presented to the artists personally by the President of the Honorary Committee and Art Expert Dr. Michele Miulli, a magnificent bust of "laocoonte" 2024 made of precious alabaster powder placed on a marble base. The event was attended by prominent artists from all over the world in the field of human rights, social inclusion and culture, art historians, gallerists, institutional figures, writers, philosophers, authors and guests of all kinds. The award winners and the artists present at the event were interviewed by Nel Mondo, Director of the Italian Academy of Arts and Roberto Chiavarini. In addition, before the award ceremony, the Collective Art Exhibition opened in Ex Conservatorio Di Sant'anna, located in the heart of Lecce, Italy, from 24 to 30 June, where the works of the artists were exhibited. The exhibition hosted works of many genres, including paintings, sculptures and photographs. Last February, after participating in Art Capital 2024 in France with my photograph, I was selected as a High Recognition Candidate and my photograph was awarded. In addition to the award, I was elected as an Honorary Associate Member of the Italian Academy for 2024.

After the exhibition and award ceremony, a catalogue was published under the title “Anatolia Di Artisti Contemporanei 2024”, which also included the works of the artists. The artists who participated in the event were presented with a diploma made of parchment paper and this catalogue, along with their awards.
