Between Parentheses

Despite all the negativities of the Covid-19 pandemic that has engulfed the world, exhibitions featuring works by Turkish artists have begun to open one after another in Paris in the new exhibition season following the summer vacation. Parisian art lovers have also started to head to art galleries at the first opportunity. The exhibition titled “In Parentheses”, curated by Armand Berberian and featuring works by contemporary artists devoted to painting, photography and ceramics in different styles, opened its doors to Parisian art lovers on October 26, 2021. The exhibition, which was held under the roof of Donovan Art Style at the Daniel Hanemian Gallery located in the Village St. Honore passage on the prestigious street of Paris, 91 Rue St. Honore, and hosted 29 contemporary artists devoted to painting, photography and ceramics in different styles, attracted great attention from art lovers despite the ongoing effects of the pandemic. Out of nearly 30 beautiful works in the “Entre Parentheses” exhibition, 6 of them quietly changed hands. The works of participating artists Yeşim Kale, Mine Ertung Koç, Ece Demirkesen, Peruze and Sinan Ertay now adorn the homes of their new owners. The exhibition was also featured in the November-December 2021 issue of Ana Magazine.
